ROCKETSPANISH REVIEW SUMMARY

idea1. WHAT IS THE BASIC APPROACH TO TEACHING?

RocketSpanish is an interactive course. Visual association (seeing an image of an object or idea and hearing the sound of the word that goes with it) is how children naturally learn language. RocketSpanish attempts to duplicate this process through the use of special software, games, and audio.

This way of learning is supposed to be faster than memorizing from a textbook or in a learning in a classroom.

2. DOES THE SYSTEM ACTUALLY WORK?

RocketSpanish works if YOU make it work. If you can commit to taking yourself through all the lessons, listening to the audio when have time (for eg. in your car or at the gym), and working with the games and software at a good pace, you will end up learning the basics of Spanish.

Since there is no teacher or exam to force you through the material, it is up to you entirely to make the time and provide the motivation to get through the material. The material is not difficult at all. The special software and games make the learning process fun but you still have to make time to sit down regularly and go through the lessons.

If you can commit an hour or two a day, you should have no problem understanding and being able to speak basic Spanish by the end of 8 weeks. If you can commit more time daily, the process can be faster.

Less time will not work. If you are going to wait several days between lessons, you will not build enough momentum and will find yourself naturally forgetting material between lessons.

The biggest strength of the RocketSpanish program is the visual learning. If you taken a language course in high school, you know that 8 weeks in a class or 8 weeks learning from a textbook won’t get you very far. With visual learning and the use of software and audio, you can pick up the basics of
Spanish in much less time.

warning3. ROCKETSPANISH IS NOT FOR EVERYONE

If you are the type of person who needs a live human being to motivate and instruct you, RocketSpanish is not for you. The material is easy to follow and well laid out, but some people find it hard to learn outside of a classroom setting. If you think you might fall into that category, a Spanish class at a local college is probably your best bet. Just keep in mind that learning a language in a classroom setting is going to take much, much longer than 8 weeks.

As well, you must have regular access to a computer in order to work with the software and the games, which are a big part of the course. If you don’t have regular access to a computer, this course is not for you. You may consider taking a Spanish class, where most of the material will be presented in a textbook format.

If you purchase the download option, you will be able to download all the material right away. You get:

  • Access to a members forum where you ask questions of the teachers and other students, keep track of your progress, and test your skills

up5. ROCKETSPANISH GOOD POINTS

  • Visual learning is the fastest way to learn a new language
  • The games and software make the process fun
  • You can listen to the audio components anywhere, anytime, to reinforce your learning
  • The downloadable version is much cheaper than most language programs on the market

down7. ROCKETSPANISH BAD POINTS

  • Not a good fit if you need an outside person to motivate and instruct you
  • You may not learn everything you need in 8 weeks. It may take a couple of weeks longer, depending on how much time you are able to commit and how quickly you absorb the material

8. ROCKETSPANISH REVIEW SUMMARY

RocketSpanish is good way to learn the basics of the Spanish language. If you can commit an hour or two a day, you should have a good grasp of basic Spanish in 6-10 weeks. The more time you can commit, the faster the process can be.

I hope this RocketSpanish review has helped to answer some of the questions you may have had about the program. Feel free to leave any comments/suggestion.
